Joel 2:11
The Lord gives voice before His army,
For His camp is very great;
For strong is the One who executes His word.
For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible;
Who can endure it?
The day of the Lord is coming! Who can endure it? Chapter 2 of Joel describes the day of the coming of the Lord. It will be great and terrible the Bible says. The trumpet will sound and the day of the Lord will be a reality. At any moment the day that is "near" will become Present. The world as we know it will become darkness but who can endure it?
Are you ready for that day? Will you be able to endure it? God is merciful and forgiving and He gives us the opportunity every day to repent and follow Him. He promises us an eternal life if we will confess that Jesus is our Savior and live like Jesus did. If you do not know Jesus as your Savior today, I encourage to seek Him.
Prayer- Thank you God for sending your only begotten Son, Jesus, to save us from our sins and give us the gift of Eternal Life with You. God, please forgive me for my sins and help me to show others the way to You. AMEN!
