Though the World Falls Apart

We tend to base our security or what makes us feel safe around worldly things. But what happens when those things fail or go away? What if the earth quakes or our business fails? What if the mountains were to be carried into the sea? What can we depend on when everything is suddenly taken from us?

God!

Worldly things are temporary but God is our refuge against everything. Only God remains trustworthy and unchanging forever. He is the only sure foundation for our security.

Prayer- God, please help me to base all my confidence in your love and unshakable security. Thank you for being an unchanging God and always protecting me. Amen!
