Colossians 3:15
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
This verse sums up what the Christian life should look like and how the born-again believer should behave in word and in deed. Our relationship with God is not about a set of rules—human minds could never make enough individual rules to cover every possible situation. Instead, we are to submit everything, and every moment to God.
This world is full of so much corruption that we must let the peace of God rule over us. We cannot let this world change or harden our hearts. It is our duty to forgive one another, imitating the forgiveness through which we are saved. We should continually be thankful to God for all His good gifts. The soul prospers when we apply the Scriptures and the grace of God in everything. By faith we are eternally joined in union with Him and a member of His body.
Prayer- Search my heart Lord and bring forth anything that may be preventing me from living a Godly life. Help me to keep the peace of God in my heart. May all I do in word or deed be done in Your name - giving praise and thanksgiving to you God, through Jesus Christ. Amen!
