God Chose us in Him!

Ephesians 1:4

just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,

Psalm 139:13-14 13 For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. 14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.

Today I just wanted to bring you two scriptures that I believe God wants us to know and remember daily. The scripture says that even before God formed us in our mother's womb, He chose us before he even created the world as we know it. How awesome is that? God knew who we were going to be; mistakes and all, before we were ever formed in our mother's womb. Before the world was created and the choice became ours, God chose us to be holy and without blame before Him. Why? LOVE! And guess what? God still loves us! The scripture says; we should be without blame before Him in LOVE! God wants us to know that HE LOVES US, no matter what! And He wants us to love each other the same way; without blame!

I remember a quote that has been around for a long time. "I know I'm somebody 'cause God don't make no junk"

How awesome is that? We are all somebody, because God made us! He chose each of us before anything was created in the world. God knew every mistake we would make, but He also knew every success we would have. No one matter the past or even our present situation can keep God from loving us. He wants us to remember He made us to be set apart from anyone else. Not one person is like the other! But if we serve the Lord as our Savior, we are to love others as He loves us! But most importantly, love yourself, as God does!

Sunday Pastor Shane talked about the term fearful in reverence to God. The term fearful as we know it means to be scared of, which is not the meaning from this scripture; fearfully and wonderfully made. To fear the Lord is to respect or show great reverence to. And to be wonderfully made means to be set apart or unique. God wants us to know that He created us exactly how we are; our looks, intelligence, character; to set us apart to bring something to His kingdom like no one else can. We are all chosen to bring something unique to the world and to His kingdom. We must be fearful; respectful to God and remember that God don't make no junk! No matter where you are right now IN OR OUT of your walk with God, just know that He is waiting for you to realize that He is all you (WE) need!

Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.

The world is chaotic, but God is not!

He is unchanging and OMNIPRESENT!
