Asking God

John 15:16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

Do you make a habit of asking God for what you need? If not, then you should. God tells us in this scripture that whatever you ask for, in HIS name, He will give to you. Of course, God knows what we need more then we do and that sometimes our wants are not what we need. Will God allow us things that we want that is not to our advantage or that may not be good? Yes! Why?--------Freedom to Choose

We have freedom, and we have free will. We have that free will because God is love! Sometimes God will allow things that He wouldn't approve of, to cause you to come back and seek Him.

So when we ask God for something, we should pray not only about what we want but what God would want for us. God has a plan for all of us and He can do great things through us if we ask for the guidance and help. If you do your part, God will do HIS!
